I just saw some absolutely disturbing testimonials on Friendster.
I mean, it's sickening how one guy can move on to another girl in the space of 5 days, and say exactly the same sickening things that he said to the previous girl. N guess how old she is? Like thirteen. Woohoo!!!
What's worse is... i don't even wanna say what's worse. But my heart goes out to you dear... I trust you to be the strong girl you are, and I'll be coming back soon. Miss you, and hope you're taking care of yourself.
Okay anyway, see the pics below? I met up with Yvonne n Eric during the weekend. Had so much fun... we went shopping at Suntec City plus City Hall plus Raffles Place (see so many malls) and to Marche *yum* and to this gorgeous place called Robertson Walk or Quay. OH OH OH we went to a BEN n JERRY'S CAFE! Can you believe it? Ben n Jerries in Singapore! Yaaaaay. I've always wanted to try it, but my parents wouldnt allow it cos it was so expensive. But yup, i was not disappointed. It was really good, but I still prefer Baskin Robbin's Choc Chip Cookie Dough, yup pei pei? wait no.. you like ben n jerries better. oh whatever its the same.
The Great Singapore Sale is on! Ok, that's not a good thing at all. I'm so broke buying presents for everyone, my family, my two friends (boy and best) and myself of course hahaha. Seriously, Xinyi would go CRAZY here. Can't wait, she'll be joining me in just a few weeks! :D Not to mention, my two friends
Two bummers this holiday. I only get two weeks in Malaysia. And I don't get to see Mel and Nic, cos they're only coming back after i go back to Singapore. Oh well... and i injured my elbow!! Sob sob.. it's really gross, there's like pus n stuff.

Grandma.

For people who are going, "Wha?!"
I went back to Malaysia for three days, from Tuesday to Thursday. My grandma passed away on Monday at 4.15 p.m. at my uncle's house, from a major heart attack. She was having difficulty breathing for half n hour, and then she just went. There was nobody at home except my two cousins, Crystal and Nixon, and the two maids. They're all pretty much traumatized coz they saw her die. Sigh...
Anyway, the funeral was a Buddhist funeral. Pretty scary in my opinion, didn't understand 99.9% of the things they did. Lotsa people came, and I wanna say thanks for all your concern and support. Even to those that didn't come, but smsed me their condolences, thanks to you too. It was a tough four days, butI'm glad its all over now.
The worst part is.. i'm not sure that I'm gonna be seeing her again. In Heaven i mean. She wasn't saved, but my family is praying for God's mercy over her... we wanna see her again. Sigh...
Before she left for Singapore, she gave me something very significant as a gift. And I will always appreciate and treasure what she's done for me all these years. I lived with her for almost all my life, until last year when she couldn't climb stairs anymore so she had to live with my uncle in his condo. She raised me up, she took care of me when I was sick and made sure I had stuff to eat all the time hehe. Although she left our home, but she always would cook for us still from my uncles house. She was the sweetest old lady ever who cared for and gave so much to her family. although she's gone now, but we will always be thankful for her presence in our lives.
Sometimes I'd ask, why did you go when you did? I'd think, why didn't you hold on just a lil while longer? Then i'd realize it'd be selfish of me to say that... she was a walking time bomb. We all knew it was coming, but I was just hoping and hoping it wouldn't come so soon. And that everything is really God's timing, we can only be glad that she stayed with us for so long. Im contradicting myself, cos after that i'd ask the same question again.
I miss her so much... once in a while tears will form in my eyes. I was pretty much hysterical when I found out about it.. it seemed so unbelievable that she went just like that. Without seeing her for the last time. I was going to.... when i go back in June. But she couldn't wait that long. But luckily I managed to talk to her the day before she died... on Mother's Day. I called her to wish her, but that was it, we didnt really talk for long. I miss my grandmother. I wasn't ready to let her go yet. I'm still not. But there's nothing within my power... that I can do except to be strong for my family.
We have suffered a terrible loss, but we thank everyone for upholding us in prayer. After the cremation, I straight away went back to Singapore on the bus with my two aunts. But I didn't feel heavy-hearted, coz i know i'll be back again soon. To see the people I love, at least the ones that are left.
I love you Mama. :( I won't forget you.

I watched a malay movie! For those of you guys in BM Set 1 last year, hahhaa. The movies they show here are soo much better, they showed this really nice movie called.. um, forgot what it's called, but it was soo sad and so touching hehe. Half the class were almost in tears.. okay fine. I was the one almost in tears. hehehe... knowing me la. At least its better than the stupid Bukit Kepong with all the amateur death scenes haha.
And I met up with Alia on friday!! We met up in Orchard, I did my hair while she did her nails, then we went for dinner at Sakae Sushi, AGAIN. I swear, I love that place. Ok mabe its not that place, its just sushi i love, but i went there with my aunt again today in City Link Mall. And after that, we went to the most gorgeous place in Singapore I've been so far... Coffee Club! The restaurant or cafe itself isn't great, but the whole ambience and location was sooo nice. It's like outdoor, but with a shelter, n its really really romantic too *so hint. i know where to bring somebody when he comes to visit me*. It was such a nice place to just sit and talk while having desert. We had chocolate fondue and tiramisu, hehe... and we were there for like 2 hours just catching up. Gosh i haven't seen that woman in years. So glad to have found a friend in Singapore, she's studying here too in Temasik Junior College. She's crazy, thats like the top 5 colleges in Singapore.
Was supposed to meet Vanessa as well, but the silly woman lost her phone behind her couch n left me hanging! Haha, too bad she went back to KL already, but its ok cos she'll be migrating to Sing in June! :)

For those of you who don't know, Christina is my new classmate and one of the people i hang out with most here.
